Synopsis
|
This course aims specifically to address issues of gender, race, sexuality
and class in relation to embodiment and dance.
Among its key issues include what makes "dance" dance, the
ways in which movement and gesture convey meaning, the relationship
of dance to other arts, and the mind-body connection implicated in
dance. |
