Technology Use

 

Class Policies Regarding Relevant Technology Use:

Students may use laptops, netbooks and tablets to take notes during class, but use of these devices to go online, during class, is strictly prohibited. Students may not use phones to take notes. Students using their phones or going online during class will be marked absent and will not be permitted to use any computer device during class for the rest of the semester. During class, cellular telephones or any other electronic paging devices must be turned off. No recordings of the class, whether audio, video, or computer-generated, are allowed. The professor will send updates regarding the course using TWEN, as necessary. Students are responsible for checking their FAMU email account on a regular basis.
